Discussion on Islam, The Untold Story from the Holy Land, lead by Dr. Akila, Saturday March 1st at 2:30pm at Outer Space Arcata on the Plaza at 837 H St.

Local Humboldt Unitarian Universalist Fellowship member and Palestinian Dan Shahin will introduce local Muslim Dr. Akila who will share a side of Islam largely unknown in the West. This will be followed by a discussion on Islam and an invitation to participate in public events hosted by the local Islamic community during the month of Ramadan, which overlaps the Month of March almost exactly this year. Anyone with questions about etiquette or custom who is interested in attending Islamic events this Ramadan is encouraged to ask at this time.
