Donating to the RPJC allows us to directly provide material support to Palestinians, keeps the website running, allows us to purchase more merchandise to support groups like Gaza Sunbirds and Medical Aid for Palestine (MAPS), as well as financially supporting local Palestinian families and to our mission in establishing an Arcata-Gaza Sister City. We are a volunteer run organization.

Ramadan Iftar & Eid Celebration Initiative - Gaza City
Ramadan Date: Evening of Tue, Feb 17, 2026 – Thu, Mar 19, 2026

We are launching an initiative to provide 30 days of hot, daily iftar meals to the most vulnerable. Together, we can offer nourishment, restore dignity, and foster hope through community support this Ramadan.
In Gaza, ongoing conflict and displacement have created a severe humanitarian emergency. Families struggle without food, income, or basic services, having lost everything.
This Ramadan, the crisis deepens. Millions are fasting, but countless families, including the displaced, elderly, and female headed households have nothing for iftar. For them, humanitarian aid is a lifeline.

[Completed] Life Canvas: A 6 Day Art & Storytelling Journey with Teens in Gaza City.
A transformative workshop where young voices in Gaza City paint their stories, dreams, and resilience onto the canvas of life. Over six day, teens explore healing and hope through art, personal narratives, and collaborative creation, turning lived experiences into powerful visual testimonies.

Exhibiting the Art:
The Gaza City teens creation will be showcased across multiple venues in Arcata and throughout Humboldt County, amplifying their voices and connecting communities.

Shea Freelove is a beloved local performer from Arcata, California.. He has traveled to the front lines of conflict in Africa to spread laughter and cheer for those experiencing hardship.

Sending Shea to Palestine to establish a local link to Palestine, as well as art and cultural exchange.
Giving Charity Foundation

Donating to the Giving Charity Foundation in Palestine will get Food and Water to the most dire areas in need of humanitarian support.

We have previously provided 2000 gallon water truck to Jabalia, Palestine. As well as warm meals cooked by volunteers on the ground and fed hundreds of families - especially children in need.
